First founded in Detriot in 1889, Carhartt's iconic products were work overalls made of denim fabric and canvas. Since the early years, the brand became dedicated to providing “Best In Class” apparel, tailored to meet the highest standards of quality, durability and comfort.

Selecting a range of their classic products from the original workwear, Carhartt Work In Progress was founded in 1994 to take Europe by storm. Fusing traditional US heritage garments with the nascent European urban culture, Carhartt WIP has been re-adapted, re-inperpreted and re-fitted into workwear cuts for the demands of an active life in the city.
